Tittle: Susana's Choices
Continuing on art and education, here is a portion of an article complied following the talks given at Assessing Creativity and Innovation in Contemporary Art New York State Art Teachers Association, Tarryton, NY, November 18, 2011.
“The work of contemporary artists is a dynamic combination of materials and methods concepts, and subjects that challenges traditional boundaries and defies easy definition. Diverse and eclectic, contemporary art is distinguished by the very lack of uniform organizing principle, ideology, or –ism. In a globally influenced culturally diverse and technologically advancing world, contemporary artists give voice to the varied and changing cultural landscape of identity, values and beliefs.”
Today I will be going to visit the new Renwick exhibit called Wonder. There has been so much talk about it, and the exhibit has been featured in selfies and thousands of Instagrams. I need to do that too!!!
Have a great Sunday!
Here is the image for you to be able to relate with my postcard for today.
